Games designer, writer and illustrator Gregor Hutton originally comes from Glasgow, but now lives and works in Edinburgh. He began gaming in the 1980s and is most known for his role-playing game "3:16 Carnage Amongst The Stars", which is a Military SF game in the style of Aliens and Starship Troopers. Three Sixteen has been critically hailed with an ENnie nomination and 4 "Indie RPG Award" runner-up prizes (behind Mouseguard, of course). It’s also a marked departure from his previous work under the BoxNinja imprint: "Best Friends", an RPG about girlfriends and all their petty hatreds. Gregor's first published work was a John-Woo-inspired action game called "Frenzy" published by Venture Press in 1995. That now seems a very long time ago.
Three Sixteen is available in game stores from Cubicle 7, who will be publishing its fantasy follow-up "Carnage Amongst The Tribes" as soon as Gregor gets the PDF to them.
